Tim McFadden is a local teacher and freelance horn player. He studied horn performance at USC with Richard Todd and Vincent DeRosa. While at USC, he received the 2005 Outstanding Chamber Musician award. He regularly performs with the Huntington Beach Symphony and the Bakersfield Symphony.
Passionate about music education, he is the music teacher at the Newport-Mesa Cloud Campus, a K-12 virtual school. He was honored as Newport-Mesa USD’s Secondary Teacher of the Year in 2016 and was a nominee for Orange County Teacher of the Year in 2017.
He lives in Westminster with his wife, daughter, son, and dog.
